Lansing is the capital of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located mostly in Ingham County, although portions of the city extend west into Eaton County and north into Clinton County. What I like to call the Lansing Metropolis includes DeWitt, Holt, Mason, Meridian Township / Okemos, Grand Ledge and let's throw in Dimondale as well. Plus there are those intersecting municipalities that include Delta Township, Waverly District and Lansing Township. See? We are as cool as I. C. E. Metro Lansing is all about Ingham, Clinton and Eaton Counties.
